The reaction she got from some, including you, shows that adults are thinking about themselves and not the children who will be attending these schools.
Had no Idea that was Bama Man.....have to say it sure looked like the 11 year old was about to put him into a fit. (regardless of intent the cameras sure put him in a bad light...had 5 or 6 guys comment on the Idiot that was making fun of the girl)

You do realize that they keep building new buildings up there

Far from a surprise I think most would be shocked if the mud slinging were to end till the consolidated schools graduate 8 to 10 classes

I think Bamaman can get it under control, he's just got to have the "want to" and "can do", he's just got to have it.

You reffering to UVA Wise or Charlotesville? If it Wise then you may want to go by there and take a look, all but two of the old buildings has been torn down and replace with new buildings. The two buildings that are still there are Zehmer and the Science building and both have been remodeled and renovated enough to pretty be new buildings all together. They are nigh 50 years old but they have also been maintained and renovated through those years far beyond what the county schools were.

I can speak from personal experience having attended UVAW during the time they started doing most of the remodeling and building of Commonwealth Hall. Going from Zehmer to Commonwealth for classes was very invigorating. The new building and state of the art classrooms made for a much better learning experience. I am not 100% but I believe that the original Zehmer building no loger holds classes but offices. The classes that are held in Zehmer are in the newer wing of the building that was built in the late 80's early 90's.

All I know is when I see BAMA MAN post, it reminds me of another group of people, which reminds me of this video that applies to the Anti-Consolidation crowd very nicely. Except you have to replace "jubs" with "skoos".

Re: School Board dropping the nuke

It's funny when somebody says or does something that is clearly stupid, then the whole group calls them on it and their only response is..."man, I sure do love to make you guys mad." "I didn't even mean half of that BS that I was sayin' or doin', I was just tryin' to git you all riled up. It sure did work."
Thanks for providing a positive contribution to the discussion.
